On July 3, 2026 we met "Big Joe" our friendly salesman. He was welcoming, friendly, helpful, answered my questions, was patient and not pushy. He made me feel comfortable and seen. He eased my anxieties of making a big decision to buy a 2026 Rav 4 Limited. I was the first person to test drive the new car which just arrived from Japan a week before with 5 miles on the odometer. He took me on a test drive and helped set up my phone with the car. Big Joe made buying a new car enjoyable and a memorable experience. I drove 7 hrs. to Costa Mesa from Castro Valley in NorCal to seal this deal which my son found online. My son came the week before to put his name on a list to "reserve" the car. Big Joe kept my son posted on the car and told him when the car arrived. Big Joe spoke to me and advised us to come down by July 3 if we wanted the car. Had a horrible experience with CarMax service (had a plan with them so that’s why I started there), decided to choose a dealership for the next maintenance services and to check out yet again another check engine light. Raymond was so clear and communicated what needed to be done, what options I had, and when my car would be done. From ease booking the appointment online to being able to send me text and voicemail updates I really felt taken care of and I was lacking that in the past elsewhere.

This was the smoothest car buying experience I have ever had. I purchased a vehicle for my daughter and son-in-law long distance as I live in Texas. Communication with Kristine was excellent from the start. We talked and texted multiple times to answer my questions about the vehicle and to setup a test drive. Kristine was kind and I could tell she truly cares for her customers. I would definitely buy another vehicle with her and South Coast Toyota. It was a great experience!

My wife and I were looking for a 2026 RAV4 Limited, and we searched within a 500 mile distance from us. Other dealerships that displayed that they had cars coming in would give us runaround or no call backs after saying they would, but our experience with South Coast Toyota was different.
